The PEI Sports Hall of Fame was saddened recently to hear of the passing of two its members: Rickey Burns, that great volunteer in Special Olympics and a brilliant coach in 5-Pin Bowling (inducted in 2024), and Bill Jenkins, who of course was the skip of Team Canada when they won the World Junior Curling Championships in Quebec City in 1977.
Our sincere condolences to the friends and family of both Rickey and Bill.
