Certainly included among the personal qualities of nominees to this honor to be reviewed in subsequent years by the Government Appointed Board will be the individual’s contribution to the leadership of young men and women both on the field and in other areas of our society. One of these areas closely allied with athletics is the school classroom.

Our next appointee has just retired from 32 years of service in the teaching profession. He has been an active sportsman as a player, a coach and a sage councillor of youth.
