The PEI Sports Hall of Fame is calling for nominations to be part of the induction class of 2021.
Athletes, coaches and builders who were born, or lived on PEI during their athletic prime and have brought sporting honour to the province on the regional, national or international stage may be eligible for induction, provided they have been retired for at least five years, or be considered to be five years past their athletic peak.

Those in the builder category must have made a significant contribution to their sport for at least ten years.
Island teams who have achieved success at the regional and national levels are also eligible for nomination.

Contact Nick Murray at 902-393-5474, or peisportshall@gmail.com for help or if you have queries. The nomination deadline is June 30.

The PEI Sports Hall of Fame was established in 1968 as part of the Summerside Lobster Carnival, and currently has over 200 inducted members, and display space at Credit Union Place in Summerside. An induction ceremony recognizing the 2020 inductees, and those selected in 2021, will take place once gathering limits are eased by the Chief Public Health Office. The Hall inducts four new members every year.

The PEI Sports Hall of Fame sincerely thanks the Province of PEI and the Department of Health and Wellness (Sport, Recreation and Physical Activity Division), the City of Summerside, PEI Mutual Insurance Company, and Sport PEI for their continued support of the Hall and its operations.
